Hello, my name is Jared Croston, son of Dale and Lisa Croston, and I am 17 years old. I will be a senior at Stillwater High School next year and play Tuba in the High School Band. I am a Life Scout with Troop 820 and am working on my Eagle Rank. My family has a long history with BSA and I would be honored to follow in the footsteps of my Grandfather, his brothers, my Uncles and of course my Dad. I would appreciate you taking the time to look over my Eagle Project Proposal and consider donating any amount that you are comfortable with so that I can give back to organizations that have meant a lot to my parents. Thank you for your consideration.

Dale Croston
Dale E. Croston (Alpha 1985) demonstrated a commitment and service to Kappa Kappa Psi that placed him in a class of Brothers rarely attained; and then, by only those few who are passionate, loyal, and devoted to the Fraternity. In addition to the numerous leadership roles he held at all levels of Kappa Kappa Psi, Dale served in numerous volunteer capacities, as well as holding the National Chapter & Colony Education Coordinator position at National Headquarters from 2012-2013.
Memorial Flag Plaza at the National Headquarters of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma
The National Headquarters is the former Santa Fe Railway Depot, in Stillwater, Oklahoma and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This site is not only the home for the National College Band Service Fraternity and Sorority, but also visited by train enthusiasts on a regular basis. I would like to work with the Executive Director to install 3 flag poles on the property so they may fly the American Flag, the Kappa Kappa Psi National Flag and the Tau Beta Sigma National Flag. I would like beautify the project by putting in brick pavers adjacent to the flag poles to make it look a lot nicer. This would also be the resting spot for a plaque the National Headquarters has in honor of my Father (an Eagle Scout) who was a valued member of the staff and died in 2013. The project will also work with a landscaper in beautifying the area and, if enough money is raised, we would like to install lighting and an electrical outlet. This would be located directly behind the front sign which is a popular spot for group photographs. The flag stand or plaza will incorporate a raised area to aide with the group photographs.
Fundraising Goal: $10,000.00
The funds collected will go to the purchase and installation of 3 flag poles, flags to fly on the pole, landscaping to include brick pavers, plants and flowers. If enough money is collected, electricity and lighting will be included. All funds raised in excess of the project will go to upkeep and maintenance of the plaza. All donations shall be sent to Kappa Kappa Psi in honor of Memorial Flag Plaza and you will receive a tax donation receipt. At the end of the project, all donors will receive a small commemorative gift from me.
Thank you in advance for your donation to the Memorial Flag Plaza. Please enter your donation amount in the form below.
