Fall 2023 – Announcement of Chapter Installation

Brothers –

 

On behalf of the National Council, I am proud to announce the successful re-chartering of the Iota Theta chapter at Morehouse College! The process started in early September of this semester with a petitioning group of 19 band members for Morehouse and was led by Phillip Redden with the support of their Director of Bands, Dr. Chad Hughes. I had the honor of serving as the Installing Officer for their installation, which took place on Morehouse’s campus on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023.

This process would not have been possible without the help of our dedicated Advising Team, which was led by SED Governor, J.P. Davis. The Advising Team also consisted of several Brothers, who are listed below. Thank you to these Brothers for their guidance and leadership in this process. We are deeply grateful for their service and support.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to the Iota chapter (Georgia Tech) for lending their Ritual gear for the Morehouse College installation

Lastly, we would like to give thanks to all the chapters and alumni members who made the trip to provide support in the installation ceremony for the Iota Theta chapter, including previous members of the Chapter. It was extremely heartwarming to see everyone come together to welcome our new Brothers. Please help us congratulate and welcome them to the Brotherhood! AEA.
