Call for Spring 2025 Petitioning Group Advisors and 2025-2027 National Leadership Team Volunteers

Hello Brothers!

As we enter into the National Month of Leadership for 2025 it is important for us to look forward to the future of Kappa Kappa Psi. In that spirit, President Co will shortly be sharing our programming opportunities for the National Month of Leadership to help our members grow as individual leaders. Today though, I am reaching out to you all because we need your help both this semester and in the next biennium.

For this semester, we have multiple Petitioning and ReCharge Groups across the country that will need the help of Alumni volunteers as they become Chapters. To those ends, we are holding a call for the Delta Cohort of the Friend and Advocates Initiative to both train advisors and guide them through the process as we welcome multiple Chapters this Spring. The commitment for this is a least one weekend of travel to the Chapter Installation as well as one to three hours a week to train as a Friend and Advocate and provide lessons to our Petitioning and ReCharge Groups. If you are interested in serving as a 2025 Advisor please fill out this form by February 2nd: Friend and Advocate Spring 2025 Solicitation

In addition to looking for Spring 2025 Volunteers, we are also looking for 2025-2027 National Leadership Team Volunteers for our Appointed Positions. Specifically, we are looking for volunteers for Brothers to serve as District Governors and Committee Chairs. We are looking for individuals who can advance the 2025-2027 Biennium Plan, The AEA Way (The Biennium Plan is still a work in progress, but initial details can be found here).  Both Governors and Committee Chairs are expected to represent the Fraternity in a professional manner and to advance the goals of the Fraternity in a timely manner. District Governors are required to be 25 years of age at the time appointment, can expect a weekly time commitment of two to three hours a week, and will be expected to travel for seven weekends across the biennium. Committee Chairs do not have an age requirement, can expect a time commitment of up to 10 hours a month, and may be asked to commit one to three weekends a year to Fraternity work. More details on expectations, committees, and more can be found in the application. Brothers may apply to be a committee chair and District Governor; however, they will only be appointed to one position. The Application can be found here: 2025-2027 NLT Application (Appointed Positions)If you are interested in serving in one of the appointed 2025-2027 NLT positions please complete this form by March 1st.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. As this is a busy time of the Fraternal year, responses may be slightly delayed.

AEA,

Nic
